The database consists of many ASCII files (text files).
Unfortunately, Macintosh, UNIX and Windows use different line termination codes
(end-of-line indicators) in ASCII encoding scheme.
Please download a suitable archive file to your platform.

When the archive file is restored,
the data files are expanded into the "Ce_synapse" directory (folder).
The total size of the expanded files is 2.2MB.
Please read "README.txt" included in the archive file at first.
It gives general information on the database.
The database has the following structure of files and directories
(folders). Directory (folder) names are bracketed.
The data files of the synaptic connectivity and the related files are
distributed to the three directories (folders).
- [Albertson_Fig]
The synaptic connectivity data between neurons (classes) illustrated
in Albertson and Thomson (1976), that is, the nervous system in the pharynx.
- [White_Fig]
The synaptic connectivity data between neurons illustrated in White
et al. (1986), that is, the somatic nervous system except the pharynx.
- [White_Table]
The synaptic connectivity data between neurons (classes) in the tables
in White et al. (1986), that is , connectivity in the ventral cord.
Refer to the manuals included in the database for further details.
